Alexander Isak<\/a> is said to be open to a move to the Saudi Pro League<\/a>, with Al-Hilal reportedly in the mix to sign the goalscorer from Newcastle<\/a>. Premier League champions Liverpool<\/a> have been pursuing the Sweden international this summer and reached out to the Magpies earlier this week<\/a>, but may walk away from any deal after reportedly agreeing personal terms<\/a> with Hugo Ekitike ahead of the weekend.<\/p>\n

Isak has been a revelation in England since joining Newcastle<\/a> from Real Sociedad in 2022. The 25-year-old, who was once targeted by Arsenal<\/a>, has bagged 62 goals in 109 games for Eddie Howe\u2019s side and helped fire them to Carabao Cup glory last season. He is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in world football at the moment and would be confident of scoring goals for any team on the planet.<\/p>\n

According to Foot Mercato<\/a>, Al-Hilal are in search of an experienced attacker and have set their sights on Isak.<\/p>\n

A green light has been given to the transfer, with Isak open to moving to the Middle East. And discussions are ongoing at Al-Hilal regarding a transfer.<\/p>\n

The report also claims that Newcastle<\/a> have been firm that they don\u2019t want to sell Isak and that Liverpool<\/a> appear to have understood the message.<\/p>\n

Isak is said to be worth \u00a3125million, with Liverpool<\/a> reportedly registering their interest to sign him for \u00a3120m.<\/p>\n

But Al-Hilal could decide to throw even more money at the deal in an attempt to prise Isak away from the Premier League after already approaching Darwin Nunez and Victor Osimhen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The club already have a host of stars, including former Premier League players Ruben Neves, Joao Cancelo, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Kalidou Koulibaly, and are managed by ex-Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi.<\/p>\n

They finished second to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League last season as they missed out on the title by eight points.<\/p>\n

Isak was asked about a potential transfer to Liverpool<\/a> after scoring against Arne Slot<\/a>\u2019s side in the Carabao Cup final in March.<\/p>\n

And the ace said: \u201cI don’t know much, to be honest. From within the club and from our side there are absolutely no discussions. It’s just full focus on playing for me. There’s not much to say, really. I’ve commented on my situation and my security in Newcastle<\/a> several times.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s been written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I’m not thinking about the future. I just want to perform for Newcastle<\/a>.<\/p>\n
