\n US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday to discuss the matter, according to a readout of the call from the Turkish foreign ministry.\n <\/p>\n
\n Rubio previously said on Wednesday night that all parties to the conflict had agreed to \u201cspecific steps\u201d to resolve the situation.\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cThis will require all parties to deliver on the commitments they have made and this is what we fully expect them to do,\u201d Rubio said on X.\n <\/p>\n
\n Amos Yadlin, a former major general and chief of Israeli Military Intelligence, said Friday on CNN\u2019s \u201cThe Brief with Jim Sciutto\u201d that that involvement of all the players \u2013 including Turkey, Israel, and Jordan \u2013 is \u201cmaking a lot of sense.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cThe question is how the people on the ground will behave, whether the retaliations of the two communities will stop,\u201d Yadlin said.\n <\/p>\n
