Cops raced to Ferguslie Park in the early hours of this morning following concerns from members of the public.<\/p>\n

A man has been seriously injured following a stabbing in Paisley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police were called to the Ferguslie Park area of the town in the early hours of this morning following concerns from members of the public.<\/p>\n

The male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow while police cordoned off the area.<\/p>\n

Blackstoun Road<\/a> was closed between its junction with Bankfoot Road and Westburn Avenue and remained closed during yesterday\u2019s rush-hour traffic.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 12.50am on Friday, July 18, we were called to a report of an injured man on Westpark Drive in Paisley.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services attended and the 43-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. Enquiries are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
