You’re on the road to getting back physically fit,\u00a0but how have you stayed mentally sharp during this period?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI think my people helped me a lot.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey try to push me. So that’s also a hard part because it’s not on me\u00a0to choose when I’m back.\u00a0When I’m ready, I’m back.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut when I’m back, you’re going to see a lot of excitement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like what I put in my mind,\u00a0it’s like sometimes you have to wait for a bigger blessing to happen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel hungry and excited for the new season.\u00a0When you’re injured, you have to work three times harder.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis summer was a bit different from the rest,\u00a0but I feel very locked in with myself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the mental part was harder this year. I think everyone wants to play.\u00a0You want to do what you love the most.\u00a0I wasn’t able to help the team and to contribute to the season,\u00a0and I think mentally it was really tough for me.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut, as I said, people helped me a lot, and I always try to be positive.\u00a0Even when I’m down, I try to lift people up,\u00a0so I expect the same from them, and I’m happy with the people around me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Away from football and West Ham,\u00a0have you done anything differently this summer?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI started to play golf for the first time. It was really nice to do it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI played some padel as well, so it was nice to have some time off.\u00a0Obviously, also being with the family a bit more, and seeing them too.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for me, I just want to play football,\u00a0so it was nice to have some time off,\u00a0but if you asked me if I would do it again, I would say no.\u201d<\/p>\n

Everyone at West Ham is excited to see you back in a Claret and Blue shirt.\u00a0What excites you the most about coming back?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels for me like I’m still a new signing\u00a0because I didn’t play much last season, so I couldn’t show my ability.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo what excites me the most is getting to play in front of the fans again and showing them what I’m capable of.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have something to prove.\u00a0I don’t feel like that. I don’t feel pressure as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI know what I’m capable of, so I just want to show the West Ham fans and the world\u00a0who Crysencio Summerville is.<\/p>\n
