\n Jack Fulford was enjoying a day off to celebrate his 26th birthday when online competition specialist BOTB (Best of the Best) turned up at his front door with a cake and a \u00a378,000 McLaren 570GT parked just around the corner.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Fulford, from Birmingham, said: \u201cI only usually have a small celebration for my birthday.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cSo to get a McLaren, it\u2019s life-changing. What are the chances of winning on my actual birthday? They must have been so slim.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Jack entered the competition for just 19p and was left stunned as BOTB presenter Christian Williams invited him to sit in the luxury supercar and fire up the engine.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThis is a step up from my Punto \u2013 my car rattles when you start it up,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n
\n The McLaren 570GT is designed for everyday use, blending “high performance with increased comfort and practicality”.\n<\/p>\n
\n It’s known for its luxurious interior, comfortable ride and surprising luggage capacity, it\u2019s a dream car for many \u2013 but Jack is leaning towards taking the cash alternative.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s a gorgeous car, but I\u2019ve just got nowhere to keep it. If I had a garage, I would have probably kept it,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThat said, taking the cash will allow me to pay off some loans and do a few upgrades to our house. My partner and I bought our first home last August, so being able to clear a big chunk of the mortgage will make a huge difference.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Jack admitted he\u2019d hoped for a win one day \u2013 but never expected something quite so spectacular.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI thought it was feasible to win one of BOTB\u2019s smaller prizes, but not something like this. It\u2019s an unreal feeling to have won. I can\u2019t state exactly what a difference this is going to make,\u201d he added.\n<\/p>\n
