{"id":274456,"date":"2025-07-19T10:16:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T10:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/274456\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T10:16:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T10:16:11","slug":"thunderstorm-and-heavy-rain-warning-for-all-of-west-wales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/274456\/","title":{"rendered":"Thunderstorm and heavy rain warning for all of west Wales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The alert includes Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The yellow warning takes effect from 5pm this evening, Saturday July 19 until 9pm.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The forecaster said: \u201cHeavy rain and thunderstorms may cause some localised flooding and transport disruption.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Met Office is also advising:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>\n      There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n      There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n      Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n      Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n      There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\n      There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The alert includes Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.
