William is also hoping to pass the torch to his children, especially Prince George.

As the young royal is just days away from his 12th birthday, William will be forced to keep up with a cheeky tradition with the help of Diana’s friend, Julia Samuel.

Previously, Diana used to gift Julia’s children noisy presents which may have been a fun toy to out together for the children but a frustrating ordeal for the parents. Julia also happens to be the godmother of George – one of the seven godparents for the royal child.

Now, Julia has vowed to honour the memory and continues to torture William in the process, much to the entertainment of the remaining family members.

“I do to George what [Diana] did to us, which is give impossible toys that are really noisy and take a lot of making, she William then has to spend days putting them together,” she said during a 2020 podcast. “And then put all the machinery together, and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that.”

She added that the family enjoys watching William struggle with putting together presents especially for “cheeky” George. She explained that it “makes [her] laugh, and it makes George laugh”.

She mentioned that it is “heart-breaking” since Diana would have loved her grandchildren and all their little traditions. Unfortunately, Diana never got to meet her grandchildren, as she died in a car crash in in 1997, when Prince William was only 15 and Harry just 12 at the time.

Prince William to uphold heartbreaking Diana tradition for Prince George Prince William, who continues to keep the legacy…

[7708
7709,7714,7713,533,2832,532,2831,7710,519,7711,7712
0":"post-274594","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-royals","8":"tag-british-royal-family","9":"tag-catherine","10":"tag-catherine-middleton","11":"tag-kate-middleton","12":"tag-prince-of-wales","13":"tag-prince-william","14":"tag-princess-of-wales","15":"tag-royal-families","16":"tag-royal-family","17":"tag-uk-royal-family","18":"tag-william
["GET
