{"id":274658,"date":"2025-07-19T12:05:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T12:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/274658\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T12:05:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T12:05:11","slug":"artificial-pitch-at-herefordshire-cricket-club-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/274658\/","title":{"rendered":"Artificial pitch at Herefordshire cricket club approved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Plans have been approved to install an artificial cricket pitch at a sports club in Herefordshire.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The application was made by Aston Ingham Cricket Club Committee for a non-turf cricket pitch with a length of 30 metres and a width of 2.74 metres on Mill Meadow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Herefordshire Council planning officers said the pitch would not have any highways impact, nor adversely affect the surrounding landscape.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">They did, however, recommend a condition that any external lighting be limited as the site was located within an area of so-called dark landscape, which supports nature conservation interests including nocturnal protected species.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Plans have been approved to install an artificial cricket pitch at a sports club in Herefordshire.
