Sheffield Wednesday have seen multiple players leave the club in the last few weeks, some of whom have sent messages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> winger\u00a0Anthony Musaba joined Samsunspor<\/a> for a fee of around \u00a3800,000.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Djeidi Gassama then completed his move to Rangers<\/a>, seeing the Owls net around \u00a32.2m to ease their financial problems.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday are saving a further \u00a31.95m<\/a> as well after two more players opted to depart Hillsborough this week.<\/p>\n

Josh Windass and Michael Smith have left<\/a>, terminating their contracts despite having a year left to run.<\/p>\n

Both players have transfer interest already, with Middlesbrough holding talks for Smith<\/a> after he was granted his release.<\/p>\n

Barry Bannan has sent a message to Windass<\/a> after his exit, while the attacking midfielder released a statement of his own.<\/p>\n

After their exits were confirmed, both players sent messages of appreciation to the Owls.<\/p>\n

However, journalist Alan Briggs has since highlighted a \u2018significant\u2019 omission from their statements.<\/p>\n

Though not named by Briggs, one man who was left out of the messages was owner Dejphon Chansiri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The club remains in crisis, and there are fears that more Sheffield Wednesday players could leave<\/a> after Windass and Smith.<\/p>\n

It was reported recently that Francesco Guardascione was leading a consortium to buy Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, it has since emerged that the Sheffield Wednesday takeover bid had collapsed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite this latest blow, it\u2019s thought that Chansiri remains committed to selling the Yorkshire club.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
