Danny Rohl is expected to leave Sheffield Wednesday this summer, but the club are yet to officially announce a decision.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The German has enjoyed two solid seasons with the Owls, having saved them from relegation in 2023\/24 before a mid-table finish last term.<\/p>\n

However, things took a turn for the worse towards the end of 2024\/25 with Danny Rohl linked with several jobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rohl did not turn up<\/a> to the start of pre-season as he eyed an exit, and Sheffield Wednesday players were unhappy<\/a> with the manager.<\/p>\n

Now, his future at Hillsborough Stadium has been discussed by one Sky Sports pundit.<\/p>\n

As well as Rohl\u2019s<\/a> future, Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> have had multiple embargoes placed on them due to financial problems.<\/p>\n

These issues have seen a number of top stars sold or have their contracts terminated \u2013 Josh Windass and Michael Smith being the latest.<\/p>\n

Now, Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has been discussing Rohl\u2019s situation with the Owls.<\/p>\n

And he suggested a decision on his future has not been made yet, due to all the other problems behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

He told Football League World<\/a>: \u201cI just think it needs to be resolved very quickly, I think it needs to be made a decision and I think the reason why it hasn\u2019t been made is because of what\u2019s going on behind the scenes in who\u2019s going to be coming in and taking on the football club.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut yeah, this needs to be resolved for Sheffield Wednesday because it\u2019s all looking very much of a shambles at the moment, the quicker it\u2019s resolved the better because as I said the season is just around the corner.\u201d<\/p>\n

What we know about Danny Rohl leaving Sheffield Wednesday<\/p>\n

EFL Analysis<\/strong> broke the news earlier this week that Rohl will be leaving Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We understand that talks over whether the German leaves outright or is placed on gardening leave are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

But we do expect that the former Bayern Munich coach will indeed depart this summer.<\/p>\n
