{"id":275231,"date":"2025-07-19T17:08:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T17:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/275231\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T17:08:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T17:08:10","slug":"30-player-squad-travels-on-asia-tour-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/275231\/","title":{"rendered":"30-player squad travels on Asia Tour | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 30-player squad will board\u00a0the plane to Asia for our men\u2019s pre-season tour today (Saturday, July 19), as we face AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore before heading to Hong Kong to play Tottenham Hotspur, as our preparations for the new season step up.<\/p>\n<p>Captain Martin Odegaard will lead the squad, with new signings, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard all travelling. Noni Madueke, who officially signed for the club on Friday, will be joining his teammates when the squad return from Asia, due to his participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The travelling party arrives in Singapore on Sunday, where we will play two matches in the National Stadium, as we return to Singapore for the first time since 2018. We start with a match against AC Milan on Wednesday,\u00a0July 23 (7.30pm local time), before we take on fellow Premier League side Newcastle United on Sunday,\u00a0July 27 (7.30pm local time).<\/p>\n<p>We then fly to Hong Kong for a first north London derby overseas, playing Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday,\u00a0July 31 (7.30pm local time) in the recently-opened Kai Tak Sports Park.<\/p>\n<p>During the two-week visit, our players, coaches, and staff will be connecting with many of our fantastic supporters in Singapore and Hong Kong.
