Manny Pacquiao<\/a>\u2018s sensational return to boxing is just a few hours away.<\/p>\n

The Filipino icon will compete professionally for the first time in nearly four years when he challenges Mario Barrios for his WBC welterweight title<\/a> at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Pacquiao is widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters of the past few decades, having claimed world honours in a remarkable eight divisions from flyweight up to super-welterweight.<\/p>\n

It would be a huge achievement if Pacquiao was to pull off the win, due to now being 46-years-old and having not been triumphant in six years, with his last victory coming against Keith Thurman in July 2019.<\/p>\n

While the odds may be stacked against him, some of boxing\u2019s biggest names are hoping to see Pacquiao pull off a remarkable win, none more so than pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Boxing Social<\/a>, Crawford revealed that he was backing Pacquiao to use his years of experience to prevail against Barrios.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got him winning, I got him winning. I just think the experience, you know, the power, is gonna take him to a victory.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Crawford knows a thing or two about holding world honours at 147lbs, having become undisputed in the division with victories over the likes of Errol Spence, Shawn Porter, Kell Brook and Amir Khan.<\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 has a big fight of his own to prepare for, as he gets gets ready to jump up two weight divisions to challenge undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in September.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Manny Pacquiao\u2018s sensational return to boxing is just a few hours away.
