Tyler, The Creator<\/a> has announced his new album \u2018Don\u2019t Tap the Glass\u2019. Find further details below.<\/p>\n

The rapper shared the news of his upcoming LP during a concert at Brooklyn\u2019s Barclays Centre last night (July 18), shouting out the album title during his performance.<\/p>\n

Outside the venue, there was also a figure enclosed in a clear box that read \u201cDon\u2019t Tap the Glass\u201d, alongside digital signage that promoted a new website<\/a> DontTapTheGlass.com.<\/p>\n

From there, vinyl records, CDs, and box sets are available to purchase, with everything shipping on Monday (July 21), when the album is presumed to come out.<\/p>\n

The website also includes three directives: \u201cBody Movement. No Sitting Still,\u201d \u201cOnly Speak in Glory. Leave Your Baggage at Home,\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t Tap the Glass\u201d.<\/p>\n

It comes after the artist has been hinting to fans that something would be coming next week, sharing images on\u00a0Instagram of a Louis Vuitton bag, a mannequin\u2019s head, and a trumpet player in a band uniform \u2013 all labelled with the date July 21.<\/p>\n

The upcoming LP will be the follow up to \u2018Chromakopia\u2019, which landed at number 44 on\u00a0NME\u2018s best albums of 2024 list<\/a>, and is the eighth studio album by the former Odd Future member.<\/p>\n

NME\u2018s Fred Garratt-Stanley wrote in a three-star review of \u2018Chromakopia\u2019<\/a>: \u201cOn \u2018Noid\u2019, he incisively documents this mental turmoil (exacerbated by intense fan scrutiny), spitting \u201cTriple checking if I lost the door \/ I know every creak that\u2019s in the floor \/ Motherfucker I\u2019m paranoid\u201c.\u201d<\/p>\n

The musician is set to make his film debut later this year in\u00a0Marty Supreme,\u00a0a new A24 film set to be released in December<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other news, earlier this. year Tyler announced his first-ever Asia tour, making his live debut in Manila and Bangkok<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll launch the tour in Tokyo on September 9, followed by dates in Seoul, Manila and Bangkok. Through the Asia trek, Tyler will be supported by former\u00a0NME\u00a0Cover stars Paris Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In May, NME caught him live in London, giving his performance a glowing five-star review<\/a> which read: \u201cAs Tyler wishes us a farewell, he remains humble, but tonight is no small feat.
