A man has been charged with attempted murder after police<\/a> swarmed a residential Glasgow street.<\/p>\n

On Thursday July 17, officers raced to Carnwadric Road in Kennishead at around 11.35pm after being called to reports of a man allegedly being seriously assaulted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old was rushed by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His condition was described as serious<\/a> but stable.<\/p>\n

A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged<\/a> with attempted murder. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday July 22, reports Glasgow Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 11.35pm on Thursday, 17 July, 2025, we received a report of a 37-year-old man injured after being seriously assaulted<\/a> on Carnwadric Road, Glasgow.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice and ambulance attended and the injured<\/a> man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.<\/p>\n

\u201cA 44-year-old man has been arrested<\/a> and charged in connection with attempted murder and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 22 July, 2025.”<\/p>\n

Yesterday, in a separate incident, we reported that a man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a person<\/a> was found seriously injured in a Scots housing estate.<\/p>\n

John MacMillan from Glasgow appeared<\/a> at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday July 18 charged with attempted murder, assault to severe injury, per disfigurement, impairment and danger to life.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old made no plea and was remanded<\/a> in custody. He will appear again within eight days.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to Cornalee Gardens<\/a> in the Pollok area of the city at around 3.45pm on Wednesday, July 16, after a 38-year-old man was found injured.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital<\/a> for treatment. His current condition has not been confirmed.<\/p>\n

A police cordon remained in place at the scene throughout Thursday, with uniformed<\/a> cops standing guard.<\/p>\n

It is understood that residents<\/a> were asked to sign in and out when entering or leaving their homes.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Police Scotland previously<\/a> said: “Around 3.45pm on Wednesday, 16 July, 2025, police received a report a man had been injured on Cornalee Gardens, Pollok, Glasgow. Emergency services attended and the 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.<\/p>\n

“A 43-year-old man has been arrested<\/a> and enquiries are ongoing.”<\/p>\n

Residents are being urged to remain patient as officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding<\/a> the incident.<\/p>\n
