Known for his bohemian style,<\/a> the Hollywood star<\/a> has surprised many by embracing a more grounded lifestyle <\/a>outside London. The report <\/a>states that Depp was chauffeured from his new residence to the premiere of \u201cModigliani: Three Days On The Wing Of Madness\u201d last week.<\/p>\n

Two years ago, rumors circulated that the \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d star had moved to Somerset. However, in reality, he was living in a Soho townhouse that also served as his art studio and creative space.<\/p>\n

As Daily Mail journalist <\/a>Alison Boshoff previously reported<\/a>, several of Depp\u2019s recent interviews <\/a>were conducted during this chapter of his life in the Soho area. However, for the sake of \u201cpeace, privacy, and security,\u201d Depp has now relocated to the countryside \u2014 a move that mirrors the lifestyle of his late best friend, legendary guitarist Jeff Beck.<\/p>\n

Depp\u2019s Deep Connection to Sussex Through Jeff Beck<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuesday night and Jeff Beck had brought on Johnny Depp at Royal Albert Hall! <\/p>\n

Depp spent a significant amount of time with Jeff Beck at the rock icon\u2019s 16th-century farmhouse in Wadhurst during the COVID-19 pandemic. Talking to a local British magazine<\/a>, the actor reportedly called it<\/a> \u201cvery beautiful and wet\u201d \u2014 a nod to the lush, rainy English landscape.<\/p>\n

The two artists first met in 2016 and began collaborating on music in 2019. In 2022, they released a full-length album, \u201c18,\u201d and embarked on a tour together that same year.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Hollywood Authentic<\/a>, Depp spoke candidly about his bond with Jeff Beck and his wife, Sandra. \u201cThere\u2019s a couple who very much helped to keep me alive and sane and happy through the weirdness. And that\u2019s Jeff and Sandra [Beck\u2019s wife],\u201d he said.<\/a><\/p>\n

People reported<\/a> that Beck died of bacterial meningitis in January 2023, and Depp was reportedly at his bedside. He and Sandra gave Beck a \u201cgreen burial\u201d on the grounds of the Sussex home \u2014 a loss that deeply impacted Depp.<\/p>\n

Depp has long been a globetrotter when it comes to real estate. He owns a sprawling estate <\/a>in the south of France, where he and his ex-partner, Vanessa Paradis, raised their children, Lily-Rose and Jack. <\/p>\n

Though a quiet country life may seem unexpected for Depp, it\u2019s not out of character. Depp may be leaning into a softer, more grounded chapter of life.<\/p>\n
