A woman’s body was tragically pulled from a Birmingham canal this morning.<\/p>\n

Police were called to a canal off Kings Road in Tyseley at around 7am on Saturday, July 19.<\/p>\n

Tragically, a woman’s body was pulled from the water.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> said it was not treating her death as suspicious.<\/p>\n

A file was being prepared for the coroner.<\/p>\n

A police cordon was in place for several hours on the canal towpath following the sad discovery.<\/p>\n

Both entrances to the canal were sealed off, an eyewitness said.<\/p>\n

A West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesperson told BirminghamLive: “We were called following reports of a body in a canal in Kings Road, Tyseley, at around 7am today.<\/p>\n

“Sadly, the body of a woman was found.<\/p>\n

“Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
