People<\/a> reporting the singer born Charlotte Aitchison and her longtime boyfriend Daniel tied the knot during an \u201cintimate ceremony\u201d that included some of Daniel\u2019s the 1975 band mates.<\/p>\n\n\tThe London wedding came as a surprise to fans as sources close to the singer said as recently as this month that XCX and Daniel were planning to marry in Italy. \u201cCharli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there,\u201d the source told The Sun. \u201cIt\u2019s incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared. It\u2019s costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerizing. Charli and George said they wanted a massive party and there are no restrictions on when the bar has to close, so it can go on all night.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHowever, it appears that the couple opted for a low-key, daytime affair with close family and friends and not a Brat Tour-sized celebration.<\/p>\n
