{"id":276513,"date":"2025-07-20T04:41:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T04:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/276513\/"},"modified":"2025-07-20T04:41:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-20T04:41:09","slug":"yate-author-releases-second-book-in-detective-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/276513\/","title":{"rendered":"Yate author releases second book in detective series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Stephen Cook, 63, who lives in Yate, released Saints and Sinners in May.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It is the second book in his Inspector Page series, following Angels In The Architecture, published in 2024.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Cook said: &#8220;Once I had retired I was finally able to find the time needed to write novels; something I had always wanted to do.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Angels In The Architecture was very well received and early reviews of Saints and Sinners have also been good.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;If you enjoy a good detective story then you should get to know DI Jim Page.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Cook grew up in Oldland Common, Bristol.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He was educated at Sir Bernard Lovell Comprehensive School and studied German at Warwick University.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He spent his career in social housing.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Both novels are available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Cook is hosting a meet the author event at Yate Library on Saturday, November 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Stephen Cook, 63, who lives in Yate, released Saints and Sinners in May.
