Oasis are playing the last of their Manchester shows at Heaton Park on Sunday<\/p>\n

Fans ahead of the fourth night of Oasis playing in Manchester<\/p>\n

Tens of thousands of people descended once again on Manchester for the penultimate gig in Oasis’ epic homecoming shows.<\/p>\n

Over 70,000 people flocked to Heaton Park for the huge gig<\/a> on Saturday night, with ‘thousands’ more fans also making the journey to nearby Gallagher Hill to listen to the band perform.<\/p>\n

Amid a yellow thunderstorm weather warning and another huge concert taking place in Manchester on the same night in Billie Eilish<\/a>, a huge operation was put in place for the concert.<\/p>\n

And, despite previous gigs seeing a number of ticketless fans attempting to storm into the concert or use ladders to gain entry,<\/a> Greater Manchester Police said the Saturday night concert passed ‘without any major incidents’.<\/p>\n

A number of people were arrested, however, for a range of offences, police said.<\/p>\n

In a statement issued after the gig, GMP said: “We\u2019re pleased to report the penultimate Manchester #OasisLive25 event has concluded without any major incidents.<\/p>\n

“Officers made 14 arrests for offences including fraud, drunk driving, and assault. We\u2019ll be back for the final event tomorrow.”<\/p>\n

Oasis will round off their five shows in Manchester on Sunday night (July 20), before taking their tour across the UK and overseas.<\/p>\n
