Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is said to be a target of four different clubs, with the Reds looking to sell the forward and bring in Hugo Ekitike.<\/p>\n

Darwin Nunez<\/strong><\/a> is said to be wanted by Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, AC Milan<\/strong><\/a>, Al-Hilal<\/strong><\/a> and Al-Nassr<\/strong><\/a>, with Liverpool<\/strong><\/a> reported as being keen to sell the striker.<\/p>\n

Reds boss Arne Slot<\/strong><\/a> looks set to significantly revamp his side’s forward line following reports that they are closing in on Eintracht Frankfurt centre-forward Hugo Ekitike<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The outline of a deal has reportedly been agreed, and the Frenchman’s arrival would almost certainly signal the end of Nunez’s time at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Slot only started the Uruguayan on eight occasions in the Premier League last term, and the forward will want regular minutes in 2025-26.<\/p>\n

If the Serie A champions were unwilling – or unable – to agree a deal due to financial differences, then it is difficult to imagine Italian giants AC Milan doing so.<\/p>\n

The same can be said of Barcelona, who have struggled in recent seasons to overcome their off-field strife as a result of significant debt.<\/p>\n

Clubs such as Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr have access to riches that would make a transfer more feasible, and stories emerged in January claiming that Nunez was open to leaving in the winter to the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n

However, it should be noted that Uruguay have ambitions of competing at the World Cup next year, and Nunez may benefit from playing against higher-calibre opponents in order to be in the best form possible for his national side.<\/p>\n

Though Liverpool would like to recoup as much as possible for their striker, there is a chance that the player could force them to accept a lower fee from a European club this summer.<\/p>\n
