In 2017, he won the FIFA U20 World Cup with England and made his Premier League debut for Spurs.<\/p>\n<p>After appearing in the UEFA Champions League in 2018\/19, Walker-Peters joined Southampton on loan in January 2020, then made the transfer permanent that summer, and went on to become a regular in the Saints\u2019 starting line-up over the next five seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Playing in either full-back position, or as a wing-back when required, Walker-Peters played over 200 times for Southampton, helping the club win promotion back to the Premier League via the EFL Championship Play-Offs in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>His form at St Mary\u2019s Stadium caught the attention of Gareth Southgate, who gave him his senior England debut in March 2022 in a friendly international victory over Switzerland at Wembley.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Walker-Peters had been a regular for England at age-group level, winning over 40 caps between U18s and U21s, and starting the Young Lions\u2019 victory over Venezuela in the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup final.<\/p>\n<p>Now, he will return to his home city and continue his career at London Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone at West Ham United would like to welcome Kyle and his family to the Club and wish him every success for his career in Claret and Blue.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.whufc.com\/kits\/home-kit\/?utm_source=whufc&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=homekitlaunch_2025&amp;utm_content=article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Born in Edmonton, north London, in April 1997, Walker-Peters joined local club Tottenham Hotspur as a schoolboy.
