A young, fast-rising boxer from Medway could be in line for a crack at the world heavyweight boxing title with a money-making bout against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.<\/p>\n
Usyk beat Brit Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium last night to once again become the undisputed heavyweight champion – added the IBF belt to his WBA, WBC and WBO titles.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old stopped Dubois in the fifth round. Now the focus is on who he faces next.<\/p>\n
While the likes of Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua have been touted, it could, instead, be a 20-year-old from Chatham.<\/p>\n
The undefeated Moses Itauma has risen up the ranks with some impressive displays in the ring and his promoter Frank Warren says a statement win in his next fight next month – against Dillian Whyte in Riyadh – could see him be in line for a crack at the title.<\/p>\n
The promoter told Sky Sports: “It’s how you win. If he does what we believe he can do, the belief we’ve got in him, I think he’s not far off of a title fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Big things are expected of Itauma – with Frank Warren describing the Medway boxer as \u201ca special talent\u201d who \u201cwill one day carry British boxing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The chance of a crack at the big time was underscored by Saudi Arabia\u2019s sport promoter Turki Alalshikh stating he wants to stage a bout between Uysk and Itauma.
