Youths were seen running through Birmingham city centre as mass brawls took place.<\/p>\n

Sick footage captured the moment thugs kicked and stamped on a teen’s head after mass brawls between schoolchildren erupted in Birmingham city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Footage seen by BirminghamLive <\/a>showed dozens of schoolkids running wild around Cathedral Square and in nearby streets on Friday, July 18.<\/p>\n

Multiple fights broke out around Colmore Row, with punches and kicks flying in from all angles.<\/p>\n

At one stage, a lad was brutally kicked by several attackers as he lay helpless on the ground, trying to shield his face – before his head was stamped on.<\/p>\n

Footage, shared online, also showed a gang of lads unloading vicious punches on teens cornered against a door.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> said two people were arrested on suspicion of robbery following the chaos.<\/p>\n

Officers said they were aware of footage circulating on social media and vowed to track down those involved.<\/p>\n

A force spokesperson told BirminghamLive: “We are aware of the scenes of disorder in the <\/a>city centre on Friday, July 18.<\/p>\n

“A dispersal order was put in place and two arrests were made for robbery as we cleared the area of anti-social behaviour.<\/p>\n

“We are aware of footage circulating on social media and we’re carrying out an investigation to identify who was involved. This includes working closely with our partners.<\/p>\n

“This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n

“We will make sure those who think otherwise will be dealt with robustly.<\/p>\n
