Billie Eilish<\/a> has revealed that she\u2019s working on \u201csomething very, very special\u201d with James Cameron<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer hinted at the collaboration on Saturday (July 19) during the first of a four-night stint at Manchester\u2019s Co-op Live Arena.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you may have noticed there\u2019s like more cameras than usual,\u201d she told the crowd. \u201cBasically, I can\u2019t say much about it, but what I can say is that I\u2019m working on something very, very special with James Cameron.\u201d<\/p>\n

While she didn\u2019t provide many details, she did add that \u201cit\u2019s gonna be in 3D\u201d, and that the filmmaker was in attendance at the concert that night.<\/p>\n

She also implied that the filming will continue to take place throughout her four dates in Manchester. \u201cYou and me are part of the thing that I\u2019m making with him,\u201d she added. \u201cAlso, I\u2019ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.\u201d<\/p>\n

NME caught the opening night of Eilish\u2019s six-night stint at London\u2019s O2 Arena earlier this month, giving the performance a glowing five-star review<\/a> which read: \u201cIt\u2019s the perfect example of how Eilish has grown in the last three years and since the start of her career \u2013 always an artist who\u2019s been able to write killer songs, but one who consistently finds a way to level up and tap deeper into universal emotions.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer latest O2 residency may be over now, but next time we see Eilish in London, we bet it\u2019ll be with shows \u2013 and songs \u2013 that take her to even greater heights.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on the tour so far, Eilish\u00a0performed a powerful and emotional cover of Paramore<\/a>\u2018s \u2018The Only Exception\u2019 at a concert in Paris<\/a>, and earlier this year\u00a0joined Charli XCX during her Coachella 2025 set for a rendition of their collaboration \u2018Guess\u2019<\/a>, for which they were recently nominated for a Grammy<\/a>\u00a0for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, she also spoke out about Israel\u2019s relocation plans for Gaza, labelling it as \u201chorrifying\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As for Cameron, he recently\u00a0criticised fellow director Christopher Nolan\u00a0<\/a>over the latter\u2019s Oscar winning film,\u00a0Oppenheimer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Avatar<\/a>\u00a0director described\u00a0Oppenheimer\u00a0as a \u201cmoral cop out\u201d<\/a> saying the film \u201cdodged the subject\u201d in reference to the way the film dealt with the history of the Hiroshima bomb.<\/p>\n
