Harry continues to live in the US with his wife <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/meghan-markle\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Meghan Markle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cIt&#8217;s funny how the people who know the least about him always have the most to say,\u201d the spokesperson told GB News. Recently, Harry himself said he would \u201clove reconciliation\u201d with his family. \u201cThere&#8217;s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious,\u201d the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/prince-harry\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Duke of Sussex<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/0_Prince-And-Princess-Of-Wales-And-Duke-And-Duchess-Of-Sussex-Walkabout-Outside-Windsor-Castle.jpg\" alt=\"Prince William, the new Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, arrive to view floral tributes to Queen Elizabeth II laid outside Cambridge Gate at Windsor Castle on 10th September 2022 in Windsor, United Kingdom\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>(Image: In Pictures via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Of the feud with his father <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/king-charles-iii\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">King Charles<\/a> III, Harry said that disagreements regarding his security when he is in the UK has left the two not being on speaking terms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Harry\u2019s level of security changed in 2020 when he and Meghan stepped down as working royals and moved to California for financial and personal freedom, and he suggested the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/royals\/\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">royal family<\/a> and officials hoped his realisation of the increased safety risk \u201cwould force us to come back\u201d. The duke failed in an appeal against the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office, over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Harry, a father of two, said he wants the feud to end because he &#8220;does not know how much longer my father has&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/3_TOPSHOT-BRITAIN-ROYALS-QUEEN-DEATHjpgrince.jpg\" alt=\"Prince Harry and King Charles \" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Prince Harry and King Charles (Image: AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Harry said he has now \u201cforgiven\u201d his family. But he added: &#8220;I can&#8217;t see a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/world-news\/\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">world<\/a> in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Some steps have been taken to close the rift. The Sussexes&#8217; chief communications officer Meredith Maines and their UK PR chief Liam Maguire were seen with communication secretary for the King, Tobyn Andreae. Photos of the meeting at the Royal Over-Seas League near Clarence House were obtained by the Mail on Sunday, which cited an insider saying there were &#8220;things both sides wanted to talk about&#8221; but no \u201cformal agenda\u201d for the talks.
