Sheffield United boss Ruben Selles has claimed that he expects some new signings through the door in the next few days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It comes as the Blades are stepping up preparations for the new Championship<\/a> campaign, with hopes of bouncing back from last season\u2019s play-off final defeat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With plenty of changes following over the summer, Ruben Selles<\/a> is among the fresh faces at Bramall Lane, but he isn\u2019t the only one expected.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United<\/a> are expecting plenty of new signings to help improve the team, with a claim from the new manager that will excite fans.<\/p>\n

While 2024\/25 ended in disappointment for Sheffield United, there is some growing excitement that 2025\/26 could be a successful campaign.<\/p>\n

The arrival of Selles has ushered in a few changes, with pre-season results causing quite a stir, winning 5-0 and 6-2 in their first two matches.<\/p>\n

While those results mean little, the foundations being set are promising and can only be strengthened by some potential signings.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United are closing in on the signing of Louie Barry<\/a>, with the winger viewed as an impressive capture for the coming season.<\/p>\n

Addressing the transfer rumours to BBC Sheffield<\/a>, Selles said: \u201cI expect to have, as I said, two or three days ago, I expect to have a couple of players in the building in the next two to five days.<\/p>\n

\u201cLouie [Barry] has been there, we know him really well, so we\u2019ll see what happens in the next couple of days.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want numbers, I want quality, and the boys we are working on will be, in my opinion, high-profile players.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where we are, to add a bit of quality because I think we already have a really good group. But we are always looking at how we can improve and how we can get one per cent better.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Louie Barry could improve the side, he seemingly isn\u2019t the only player expected through the door in the near future.<\/p>\n

With Sheffield United on the lookout for new players they can bring in, plenty of names pop up to fill the frame.<\/p>\n

Now, according to Alan Nixon on his Patreon<\/a>, the Blades are targeting Daniel Gudjohnsen as a player of interest.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s stated that Sheffield United sent out their top scouts to check up on the 19-year-old striker in action for Malmo.<\/p>\n

Daniel is the son of Chelsea legend Eidur Gudjohnsen, and he is working to match his father\u2019s legacy in the game.<\/p>\n
