Coronation Street is introducing a new character in Jenny Connor’s storyline, but long-term fans of the ITV soap will find his face quite familiar.<\/p>\n

Actor Dominic Rickhards will be appearing soon as the character Dom Norwood, but fans who watched in the late 1990s will recognise him as Jim McDonald’s physiotherapist Michael Wall.<\/p>\n

He helped Jim walk again after a building site accident, and they became friends.<\/p>\n

But then Michael went and had an affair with Jim’s other half Liz behind Jim’s back, and it led to the couple splitting up. <\/p>\n

Liz left Jim and moved to Milton Keynes with Michael, but returned to Weatherfield after their relationship fizzled out. <\/p>\n

As revealed earlier this week, Rickhards’ new character Dom will similarly throw a spanner into the works<\/a>, as he goes on a date with Jenny, and tells her about a business venture he’s involved in where someone could make a lot of money very quickly. <\/p>\n

That already sounds dodgy as it is, but it turns out that Dom is actually working with Daisy Midgeley and Christina Boyd to try and secretly con<\/a> Jenny out of her money.<\/p>\n

However, Daisy soon finds out that Christina and Dom are having their own flirtation behind her back, and she’s worried that Daniel Osbourne will find out about the ruse and refuse to move away with her. <\/p>\n

We know that this is Daisy’s exit storyline, but who else will be leaving?<\/p>\n

Christina actor Amy Robbins recently spoke about how she’s been loving this story<\/a>, despite how admittedly “horrible” the duo are being to Jenny.<\/p>\n

Coronation Street<\/strong> airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on <\/strong>ITVX<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
