In this quiz<\/a><\/strong>, you have to name the playing XI in each team’s first men’s Test of the 21st century.<\/p>\n At the time of writing, twelve teams have men’s Test status. At the turn of the century though, things were slightly different \u2013 only nine teams did, with Bangladesh coming into the fold in 2000. <\/p>\n Also try: The ultimate quiz on cricket’s multi-sport athletes<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The last two teams so far, Afghanistan and Ireland, played their first Test matches in 2018, against India and Pakistan respectively. Every other team in the world played at least one Test in the year 2000. The year (and century) kicked off with two Tests on the same day, January 2; Australia v India at Sydney and South Africa v England at Cape Town. <\/p>\n Quiz!
