She only threw this party for \u201cI do.\u201d Charli XCX<\/a> and George Daniel are officially married; the two were seen<\/a> outside of Hackney Town Hall in London on July 19 with friends and family, including a couple of members of The 1975. Charli confirmed the news herself with a TikTok<\/a>, doing a trend to her own song \u201cGirl, So Confusing\u201d where she turns away because \u201cGeorge isn\u2019t crying when he sees [her] walking down the aisle.\u201d He might\u2019ve taken a while to do the apple dance<\/a>, but he didn\u2019t hesitant to shed a tear, according to Charli. The two tied the knot after a two-year-long engagement<\/a>\u2014 Charli\u2019s been very busy, to be fair. If the whole ceremony seems too\u2026 normal? Fear not, the couple did make sure to squeeze in a smoke break<\/a> after some group pics.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, the couple walked to Dalla for a family-style dinner, then to Ellie\u2019s for a teeny-tiny reception. Their cake had two tiers, decorated with grapes and figs. Charli previously shared<\/a> that she\u2019d love to \u201chave a party with friends\u201d for their ceremony, one with cigarettes on silver trays \u00e0 la Mary-Kate Olsen\u2019s wedding to Olivier Sarkozy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The cigs were in attendance, but Charli and George\u2019s besties\/collaborators Gabriette and Matty Healy, were not. They were in Los Angeles to attend the premiere for Gabriette\u2019s film, I Know What You Did Last Summer. According to U.K. tabloid The Sun, the reception only had 20 guests. Also \u00a38 martinis, which is a steal in London. The couple DJ\u2019d their own reception, naturally.<\/p>\n

The Sun also reports the couple is planning a bigger bash in Sicily later this year. You know, with neon orange drinks on the beach and Capri in the distance? If the couple is hoping to bratifiy a few wedding staples, we have some ideas:<\/p>\n
