Harry\u2019s fear when William becomes King<\/p>\n
Prince Harry fears he will be banished from the UK when William ascends the throne, a royal expert has claimed.<\/p>\n
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly desperate to heal his fractured family relationships \u2013 primarily with his father King Charles.<\/p>\n
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been living in their $US14.65 million ($A20.9 million) California mansion with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, since 2020. <\/p>\n
This comes amid swirling speculation after senior aides to both Harry and the Monarch were snapped meeting in London last week.<\/p>\n

Picture: Google Maps<\/p>\n It comes after the Duke revealed in his bombshell BBC interview \u201clife is precious\u201d and \u201cI would like to get my father and brother back\u201d.<\/p>\n Royal expert Tom Bower told the Mirror<\/a>: \u201cWhether they\u2019ll meet again in Charles\u2019s lifetime depends on how long Charles lives.<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t say never because I\u2019m sure Charles wants to meet his son, but so much depends on how Harry behaves.<\/p>\n \u201cHarry is seriously worried that when his father dies one day, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all \u2026 He will be persona non grata.\u201d<\/p>\n The author, who wrote \u201cRevenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors\u201d, claimed the Duke is \u201cdesperate\u201d to make amends with his father.<\/p>\n Although Mr Bower suspected the Palace could be reluctant to build bridges with the dad-of-two, due to a lack of trust.<\/p>\n The expert also thought it would be unlikely for Harry to meet with Charles when he visits the UK in September for the annual WellChild event.<\/p>\n It may be harder for Harry to build bridges with his brother, according to Tom Bower. Picture: Getty<\/p>\n In September the King should still be on holiday at his Balmoral retreat, ahead of hosting US President Donald Trump in the middle of the month.<\/p>\n And, even if the father and son do get back on regular speaking terms, there\u2019s a lot of damage to unpack.<\/p>\n Mr Bower highlighted Harry\u2019s BBC interview in the wake of losing his security case appeal in May.<\/p>\n In the bombshell chat, the Duke dubbed his defeat a \u201cgood old fashioned establishment stitch-up\u201d and pointed his finger at the Royal Household on swaying the decision.<\/p>\n The royal author claimed Harry \u201cfears that once Charles dies he will get no help from William\u201d when it comes to his security case.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, when it comes to Meghan, Mr Bower suggested she would be indifferent to whether or not a reconciliation happened.<\/p>\n The Duchess posted about sending her As Ever wine as a birthday present to her \u201cladies near and far\u201d on the same day Queen Camilla turned 78.<\/p>\n It is unclear who she is sending the wine to.<\/p>\n She posted the video on what would have been Wednesday in California, but early Thursday morning in the UK.<\/p>\n William\u2019s aides were not part of the suspected peace talks. Picture: Getty<\/p>\n This comes after another royal expert told The Sun Prince William would never be able to forgive his brother.<\/p>\n But Mr Hugo Vickers said he believed there\u2019s \u201chope\u201d for Harry and King Charles.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s all gone too far,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always good to talk. Lots can come out of talking, and you know it could perhaps lead to something.<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t know what they talked about or what their plans were. But that\u2019s a good sign.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite hopes of a reunion between the King and his son Mr Vickers warns a cheery reunion with Will is a far less likely possibility.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cSo as for William. It\u2019s much more difficult because the barbs were sent in his direction from Prince Harry, but very much directed towards Catherine.<\/p>\n \u201cThat is very insulting, and I think William is likely to be more of an unforgiving person than his father.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Vickers added: \u201cI think at the moment, if I was advising Prince Harry, I would say, get onto good terms with your father as soon as possible, and then that\u2019s step one and step two, try to get on good terms with your brother.\u201d<\/p>\n Harry is set to invite both his brother and father to the Invictus Games in 2027. Picture: Tim Graham\/ Getty Images<\/p>\n FAMILY FEUD<\/b><\/p>\n With rumours swirling around the possibility of a reconciliation, Harry previously said in his BBC interview he had \u201cforgiven\u201d his family.<\/p>\n The Duke also claimed reconciliation was now down to Charles.<\/p>\n The feud between the Duke and his family started when he and Meghan announced on January 8, 2020, that they would be stepping down as \u2018senior\u2019 members of the Royal Family.<\/p>\n Since then it was revealed that Harry has limited contact with his father the King along with a slew of other revelations about the family feud.<\/p>\n There was hope for reconciliation last year when Harry travelled to the UK to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his Invictus Games.<\/p>\n However, the King and Harry failed to meet due to the Monarch\u2019s \u201cfull programme\u201d.<\/p>\n The Duke was offered to spend his time at one of the royal apartments \u2013 however he turned it down in what was branded a snub to his father.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Princes William and Harry have not been in direct communication since the release of Harry\u2019s controversial memoir, \u201cSpare\u201d, in January 2023.<\/p>\n Their last known interaction was during the funeral of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022, but conversations were said to be brief.<\/p>\n Harry said in his BBC interview he is ready to have his brother and father back.
