This was in May and Sofia has already changed so much. But you can see the beginnings of what are now very profound arm and leg folds! And I was so impressed that Alex coordinated a white pacifier with her sweet flower girl dress. <\/p>\n

Sofia always seems tiny, but I’ve noticed that when I step outside with her, particularly on the ranch, she seems especially small! This was pre-ceremony on the wedding day! <\/p>\n

Before the ceremony, we had a little time in the reception tent to hang with our baby…I mean Alex and Mauricio’s baby! (But kinda our baby, too.) <\/p>\n

Paige had an official flower girl—our friend Haley’s daughter, Cate—but Sofia got the honorary position. Four years ago, Mauricio was walking down this exact spot to marry Alex, and I think they both had tears in their eyes again. <\/p>\n

This is beautiful Martha, Mauricio’s mom, who came to Paige’s wedding to both celebrate and to help take care of Sofia when the rest of us were busy toasting and dancing. She is like a sister to me and I just love her. <\/p>\n

It was really special for Paige and David to get married in the same spot where Alex and Mauricio were married in May 2021. They’ll all get to share in how special it is, and it’ll be a place they can all go back to over the years. <\/p>\n
