A SEVENTIES rock band have been spotted in Scotland ahead of their sold out show.<\/p>\n

Sparks, comprising brothers\u00a0Ron and\u00a0Russell Mael, are playing the Edinburgh<\/a> Playhouse.<\/p>\n

And ahead of the gig, the American duo shared a picture with their 104,000 Instagram<\/a> followers.<\/p>\n

They stopped for a picture at Edinburgh Airport and wrote: “Hi again Scotland<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Fans rushed online to comment on the picture, one said: “Can\u2019t wait to see you.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “Welcome to Scotland.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m driving down from Aberdeen<\/a> this afternoon for tonight\u2019s gig.”<\/p>\n

A third wrote: “Great place to see great music.”<\/p>\n

One commented: “Looking forward to the show.”<\/p>\n

The rockers, who formed in 1971, are famed for a string of hits including This Town Ain’t Big Enough for Both of Us.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere noughties indie band has announced they’re set to play<\/a> an exciting gig in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

They’re not the only stars to play the city this year with music legend\u00a0Bob Dylan taking to the stage<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Lewis Capaldi announcing an extra tour date<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Irish rappers\u00a0Kneecap have announced an even bigger show<\/a>\u00a0in Scotland following their sold-out gig last week.<\/p>\n

And now another hugely popular band is set to entertain the masses nearly 20 years after releasing their most successful chart hit.<\/p>\n

Their 2006 banger\u00a0Chelsea<\/a>\u00a0Dagger has become a nightclub staple and is often played at sporting events.<\/p>\n

The band behind the tune, The Fratellis, will play to their\u00a0Glasgow<\/a>\u00a0home\u00a0crowd in February.<\/p>\n
