Gilberto \u201cZurdo\u201d Ramirez underwent a successful shoulder surgery this weekend, treating an injury he picked up in his win over Yuniel Dorticos on June 28.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old Ramirez (48-1, 30 KO) retained his WBO cruiserweight title with the victory. No timetable has been given for his return to action.<\/p>\n
