She noted that the<br \/>\nrequired overhaul of Germany\u2019s power grid by 2045 could cost<br \/>\napproximately \u20ac600 billion \u2014 a price tag she acknowledged as \u201cvery<br \/>\nexpensive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s challenge is further complicated by its plan to<br \/>\ncompletely phase out coal-powered electricity by 2038 at the<br \/>\nlatest. With renewable energy sources unable to fully fill the gap,<br \/>\nReich indicated that natural gas power plants could become a<br \/>\ncrucial part of the transitional strategy.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, the minister announced plans to launch a tender for<br \/>\nthe construction of new gas power plants later this year, in hopes<br \/>\nof securing a stable and flexible energy supply for the future.<\/p>\n<p>        &#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here we are to serve you with news right now.
