They were detained in a notorious mega-prison used for the country\u2019s most dangerous criminals. Some could now be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/07\/18\/alien-enemies-act-deportations-venezuela-00464257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">headed back to the U.S.<\/a> to face immigration proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>The Reform UK leader admitted El Salvador as a destination for British prisoners was an \u201cextreme example.\u201d Brits would not be sent there if \u201cin danger of their lives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>But his comments came in a wide-ranging speech on crime and perceived \u201clawlessness\u201d in Britain.
