Yan Valery could become the latest player to leave Sheffield Wednesday, as clubs from the Championship and in Europe show an interest in the full-back. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Owls<\/a>\u2019 financial issues are well-known, with the EFL having hit the club with sanctions<\/a> after owner Dejphon Chansiri failed to pay all wages on time for the past two months.<\/p>\n

And, one player who could follow those out the door is Valery, as the Sheffield Star has revealed<\/a> that the defender is on the radar of several clubs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear what sort of fee they would receive for the 26-year-old, who was brought to Wednesday for around \u00a3400,000<\/a>, and he still has two years left on his contract with the Yorkshire outfit.<\/p>\n

Clearly, losing Valery would be another blow. He was a reliable figure under Danny Rohl last season, as he impressed defensively, and he does offer a threat going forward.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, it\u2019s no surprise that there is genuine interest in the Frenchman, and many potential buyers will see him as a bargain, along with other players at Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n
