{"id":280762,"date":"2025-07-21T19:56:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T19:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/280762\/"},"modified":"2025-07-21T19:56:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T19:56:10","slug":"watch-as-tornado-wreaks-havoc-at-airport-in-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/280762\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch as Tornado Wreaks Havoc at Airport in France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelpulse.com\/bio\/lacey-pfalz\" title=\"Lacey Pfalz\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Lacey-Pfalz.png\" alt=\"Lacey Pfalz\" title=\"Lacey Pfalz\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"author-image w-80 w-48\"\/><\/a>by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelpulse.com\/bio\/lacey-pfalz\" title=\"Lacey Pfalz\" class=\"author-name\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lacey Pfalz<\/a><br \/> Last updated: 2:45 PM ET, Mon July 21, 2025<\/p>\n<p>A tornado struck Tours Val de Loire Airport (LFOT) in central France on Monday morning, July 21.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The French severe weather office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keraunos.org\/actualites\/fil-infos\/2025\/juillet\/tornade-tours-21-juillet-2025-orage-indre-et-loire-aeroport\" ek-link=\"true\" title=\"Keraunos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Keraunos <\/a>reported the tornado, called a low-topped superstorm cell, which is caused by warm, humid air in the lower portions of the atmosphere and strong winds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The tornado <a href=\"https:\/\/airlive.net\/news\/2025\/07\/21\/a-tornado-has-hit-tours-airport-france-this-morning\/#google_vignette\" ek-link=\"true\" title=\"was seen at the small regional airport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">was seen at the small regional airport<\/a>, where two flights to Marseille and Marrakech were scheduled to arrive and depart.
