Coronation Street<\/a> spoilers next week see more updates about DS Lisa Swain’s late wife Becky<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viewers will remember that Lisa was wed to Becky and they had a daughter, Betsy, together. However, tragedy struck in 2021 when fellow officer Becky was tragically killed whilst on duty after being struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, DS Swain disclosed that the villainous Radcliffe brothers, Matty and Logan, were driving the car that fatally struck Becky in the hit-and-run incident<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two siblings have since been arrested and put in prison for murdering their own brother, Mason, who had attempted to help DS Swain bring down his family for their involvement in Becky’s death.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in recent scenes, Betsy discovered some old documents concerning her deceased mother Becky and demanded explanations about her death.<\/p>\n

Lisa was worried about Betsy’s inquiries, telling new girlfriend Carla Connor that she was desperate to prevent Betsy from finding a letter revealing that Becky was under investigation for corruption prior to her death.<\/p>\n

In spoilers for next week, Lisa, who is currently undergoing therapy following her colleague Craig Tinker’s murder while on police duty, admits to Carla that she skipped her appointment and instead visited Becky’s grave as tomorrow would have been their anniversary.<\/p>\n

The next day, Lisa is struggling with today being her and Becky’s anniversary, and despite Carla and Betsy being worried about her, Lisa insists she is ok and heads off for a therapy session.<\/p>\n

During her appointment with therapist, Floyd, Lisa finally opens up and admits that she wonders if there was more to Becky\u2019s death than meets the eye and if she was in some way corrupt.<\/p>\n

Later, at the police station, Lisa sneaks into DI Costello\u2019s office and searches his email for any reference to Becky Swain longing for answers and it’s not long until a furious Lisa tackles Kit Green after seeing his name on the computer asking for access to Becky’s file. What does Kit know and why is he involved?<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Carla secretly visits Logan in prison hoping to extract information about Becky.<\/p>\n

Later, a furious Lisa tells Carla that she can no longer work with Kit after he went behind her back.<\/p>\n

However, will Carla reveal what she has been up to and how would Lisa react to the betrayal?<\/p>\n

Coronation Street continues at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV and ITV X.
