The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/a>\u00a0friend addressed the relationship in a recent interview with\u00a0The Daily Dish, insisting she and Leon have\u00a0maintained a tight and supportive bond since their split over 20 years ago. Cynthia said she was particularly proud of how she and Leon raised their 25-year-old daughter,\u00a0Noelle Robinson<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 so proud, in fact, that she believed they\u00a0\u201cdeserve[d]\u00a0a co-parenting award.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do a pretty good job,\u201d Cynthia said about her dynamic with Leon.\u00a0\u201cI think, for me, the secret sauce is I had the right baby daddy. You know, we had great chemistry just in terms of who we were as people. I knew that this was someone that, regardless of how the relationship went, I could be friends with this person for the rest of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cynthia confessed\u00a0she never worried about an unplanned pregnancy with Leon, as she quickly knew she wanted a family with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was someone that I loved and I respected. And I\u00a0wanted to make a baby with him,\u201d she said. \u201cDuring the time when I got pregnant, I was like, \u2018You know, let\u2019s just say, I was not careful, OK?\u2019 I was like, \u2018If\u00a0I get pregnant, whoo! I\u2019m having a baby with Leon! We\u2019ll see what happens.\u2019 So, yeah, Noelle was definitely a love child. And we both, you know\u2026 Noelle is his one and only. She\u2019s my one and only.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a great, great respect for each other as parents,\u201d she continued.\u00a0\u201cAnd we love our Noelle. So, love and respect. That\u2019s all you can ask for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cynthia Bailey recalls meeting Leon Robinson<\/p>\n

Cynthia shared more details on her and Leon’s relationship in a 2024 sitdown with\u00a0Black America Web<\/a>, admitting she was drawn to the Hollywood actor even before they were properly introduced. Although Cynthia didn’t specify when and where she first laid eyes on Leon, she confirmed it was through the small screen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first time I met him\u2026\u00a0Well, the first time that I saw him on TV, I felt a connection,\u201d she said, referring to Leon’s acting career. \u201cI knew that if I ever met him, we would connect. And I was right because we met and we connected, obviously\u2026. And fun fact: Noelle spelled backwards is Leon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Where Cynthia Bailey stands with her ex-husbands, Peter Thomas & Mike Hill<\/p>\n

Since her split with Leon, Cynthia has gone through two highly publicized divorces. She and\u00a0\u00a0Peter Thomas<\/a>\u00a0called it quits in 2016 after seven years of marriage. Cynthia\u00a0went on to marry<\/a>\u00a0Mike Hill<\/a>\u00a0in 2020, about two years before they separated.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cynthia told The Daily Dish<\/a> she was “at a cordial, respectful place with” her ex-husbands, suggesting she wasn’t nearly as close to them as she was to Leon.<\/p>\n

“Nothing more, nothing less,” she said about the relationships. “You know, I wish them well.”<\/p>\n
