Louie Barry admits his relationship with Ruben Selles was key in his decision to join Sheffield United on loan for the upcoming season.<\/a><\/p>\n Aston Villa<\/a> sanctioned his loan move to the Blades after a permanent transfer to Hull City fell through earlier this summer.<\/p>\n The Tigers were set to pay Villa \u00a33.5 million<\/a> to complete the deal, but the English Football League imposed a transfer restriction on them.<\/p>\n Since then, Barry has been working hard at Bodymoor Heath and featured in both of the club\u2019s first two friendlies of the summer.<\/p>\n He started in the 1-0 defeat at the Bescot Stadium, then came off the bench in the 3-1 loss in Germany on Saturday.<\/p>\n Barry will now aim to play an important role in the Blades\u2019 push for promotion next season, as he reunites with Selles.<\/p>\n “The first time I had conversations about it, I just couldn’t wait to come here,\u201d Barry said<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe season is three weeks away, and I know we have a couple of friendlies before, but I am just buzzing to get started.<\/p>\n “I’ve been at Villa, playing games, training and working hard just for whatever will come next. As I say, when a club like this comes calling, you can’t turn it down and I can’t wait to get into it.<\/p>\n “I love his (Rub\u00e9n Sell\u00e9s) style of play, it is exactly what I stand for as a player.
