On Saturday, Brat singer Charli xcx married her partner, George Daniel<\/a>, at Hackney Town Hall in London. The first footage of the ceremony showed the couple posing in their wedding attire with family and friends outside after the ceremony, including her parents, Jon and Shameera Aitchison. Since then, Charli has posted more inside looks at the ceremony and after-party celebration.<\/p>\n

For the event, she wore an off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood Nova Cora minidress<\/a> with an asymmetrical knee-length skirt. She carried a bouquet of white flowers. Daniel, for his part, wore a charcoal Armani suit over and an open button-down shirt with a matching boutonniere. Charli modeled the look in a TikTok<\/a> with a pair of black sunglasses. She had a long veil pinned in her hair, which was left down in long waves, and wore white Jimmy Choo slingback heels.<\/p>\n

In the clip, she struts towards the camera, before turning away, writing over it, ‘When George isn\u2019t crying when he sees me walking down the aisle.’<\/p>\n

In the comments, she added, ‘luckily did,’ implying The 1975 drummer did shed some tears when he saw his wife entering the venue.<\/p>\n

Charli later shared a montage of clips from the hotel room of her friends and husband partying after the wedding. Before heading out to the after-party, she slipped into a flowy white ruffled jersey minidress from Saint Laurent, courtesy of Anthony Vaccarello. In another TikTok from the evening, the singer modeled it in the windowpane curtains. There was also a brief shot of Daniel in his silk pajamas, holding Charli\u2019s wedding veil to his head and smoking a cigarette.<\/p>\n

She captioned the clip, ‘Bridal party energy!’<\/p>\n

The wedding was attended by Daniel\u2019s bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, but frontman Matty Healy was reportedly in Los Angeles for the screening of I Know What You Did Last Summer, starring his fianc\u00e9e, Gabbriette Bechtel. He did attend Daniel\u2019s bachelor party in Ibiza earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, The Sun<\/a> reports attendees headed to Italian restaurant Dalla for a reception before the crowd went to Ellie\u2019s bar in Dalston.<\/p>\n

‘Charli\u2019s wedding reception was the epitome of Brat,’ said a source. ‘Her and George wanted to keep it very cool, so they shunned cars and walked down Hackney High Street to get to Dalla. The restaurant had closed for them, and they had a massive family style meal with loads of pasta and champagne. People walking past were stunned when they saw Charli and George having a cheeky pre-dinner cigarette outside.’<\/p>\n
