Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have withdrawn from the star-studded doubles event at the US Open next month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An updated entry list has been unveiled, with Tsitsipas<\/a> and Badosa one of two pairs to have quietly pulled out.<\/p>\n

\t\t\u2018Tsitsidosa\u2019 have pulled out of the US Open doubles event amid break-up reports\t<\/p>\n

British No.1 Jack Draper<\/a> and Qinwen Zheng are also no longer on the list, with both players suffering from recent injuries. <\/p>\n

But the popular duo, often nicknamed \u2018Tsitsidosa\u2019, are the main ones to stand out after deciding to no longer feature.<\/p>\n

Their withdrawal will only increase rumours of the couple splitting up, following reports during Wimbledon<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Fans spotted that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram and posts of them together had been deleted.<\/p>\n

Tsitipas and Badosa had been considered a tennis \u2018power couple\u2019 and first started dating in 2023. <\/p>\n

However, only a day after both of them were beaten in the opening round at Wimbledon, reports of a break-up swirled. <\/p>\n

HOLA.com\u00a0said that sources have\u00a0confirmed their split<\/a>, with one saying: \u201cThe break-up just happened. They both lost in the first round in London and everything has come together for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s World No.10 and men\u2019s World No.29 will now not be taking part in the revamped US Open<\/a> doubles event. <\/p>\n

Badosa is also said to be carrying an ongoing injury issue, which could potentially be a reason for their withdrawal.<\/p>\n

There has been no official confirmation of why they pulled out, but both players remain on the singles entry list.<\/p>\n

\t\tThe couple had been together since 2023 but are now reported to have split\t<\/p>\n

Tsitsipas has a poor record at major tournaments this year heading into the US Open, only winning once in 2025.<\/p>\n

The Greek star was openly criticised by his coach at SW19<\/a> and he will want a major improvement at Flushing Meadows.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, alongside a quick exit at Wimbledon, Badosa failed to make it past the round of 32 at Roland Garros after reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It will be all eyes on the singles for both stars now, following their withdrawal from the doubles competition.<\/p>\n

The US Open Mixed Doubles Championship will be staged across two days in New York City, beginning on August 19. <\/p>\n

A total of 16 teams will compete for a $1million prize.<\/p>\n

Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> and Emma Raducanu<\/a> are the standout pairing, with Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner<\/a> playing with Emma Navarro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Novak Djokovic<\/a> is teaming up with Olga Danilovic, Iga Swiatek joins Casper Ruud and Taylor Fritz<\/a> plays with Elena Rybakina.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> will feature with Grigor Dimitrov and Jessica Pegula combines with Tommy Paul.<\/p>\n

Nick Kyrgios<\/a> is planning to return to action too, pairing up with Naomi Osaka<\/a> for the event in New York.<\/p>\n

After two teams pulled out, there have also been some new names added to the entry list. <\/p>\n
