In the background, a Sirfetch\u2019d is running around with a Pichu, seemingly in some sort of wild conflict. It\u2019s stop motion, as you would expect, but it\u2019s looking good! You can almost imagine touching the clay. Though it\u2019s too early to tell, based on the title and the medieval music, the adventure might take us on a romp with a knight. Is Sirfetch\u2019d going to be more Lancelot or Don Quixote? I\u2019m guessing the latter, given the comedy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _11x6rb9i ku7vx11 ku7vx10 t0irya1\">If the preview is short, it\u2019s likely because the show is still in the works, with a set release window of sometime in 2027. \u201cIt will give a unique look at the Pok\u00e9mon in the world, told from the perspective of Pok\u00e9mon, with the signature Aardman sense of character and comedy and craft,\u201d says Lord. It\u2019ll also take place in a region we\u2019ve never seen before, which is exciting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _11x6rb9i ku7vx11 ku7vx10 t0irya1\">Beyond Wallace &amp; Gromit, Aardman is known for titles such as Chicken Run and the occasional toe dip into licensed properties, like a short for Star Wars: Visions. The critically acclaimed studio is behind the most successful stop-motion films of all time.
