WASHINGTON \u2014 Netflix’s “Stranger Things”<\/a> fans are about to enter snack Upside Down.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chips Ahoy! is launching limited-edition cookies inspired by the show’s creepy alternate dimension \u2014 complete with red strawberry filling that oozes through chocolate like the Rifts to the Upside Down.<\/p>\n

The collaboration, timed for the series’ fifth and final season, features chocolatey cookies with fudge chips and the brand’s first-ever fruit-flavored filling. But the real magic happens with the packaging, featuring retro ’80s-inspired designs with glow-in-the-dark features that would make Dustin Henderson jealous.<\/p>\n

The cookies will be available nationwide starting Aug. 11 for $5.79, though superfans can snag early access through a pre-sale limited to the first 1,500 people.<\/a><\/p>\n

Each package includes a QR code that transports buyers into an augmented reality game set in the Upside Down. Players hunt for hidden cookies across different game levels to boost their “happy meter” \u2014 because even in a nightmare dimension, you need snacks. The augmented reality game runs through Dec. 31, 2025.<\/p>\n

Game achievements unlock chances to win exclusive prizes, including a “Stranger Things” Eddie Munson-inspired guitar and limited-edition merchandise.<\/p>\n

“Stranger Things 5” premieres across three dates this fall: four episodes drop Nov. 26, three more on Christmas, and the series finale is set to release on New Year’s Eve.<\/p>\n

Since debuting in July 2016, “Stranger Things” has become one of Netflix’s most popular shows ever, taking home multiple Emmys and a Screen Actors Guild Award.<\/p>\n

The Chips Ahoy! collaboration also includes retro Original Chips Ahoy! packs designed to look like ’80s packaging from the show’s era. Whether you’re team Demogorgon or team chocolate chip, these treats promise to make your binge-watching sessions a little sweeter.<\/p>\n
