There has been a big update on the rematch between Gervonta Davis<\/a> and Lamont Roach<\/a> Jr, and it is not good news for fans.<\/p>\n

Davis and Roach had been set to clash once again before the end of the year after their first encounter back in March ended in controversy.<\/p>\n

The fight itself was declared a split decision draw, although many viewers felt that Roach had done more than enough to have his hand raised and dethrone \u2018Tank\u2019 of his WBA world lightweight title.<\/p>\n

It is now being reported that Riyadh Season\u2019s Turki Alalshikh is keen to finally make a unification fight between Davis and WBC champion Shakur Stevenson, having recently met with both fighter\u2019s teams, though how Davis\u2019 recent arrest<\/a> may impact this remains unclear.<\/p>\n
