A key member of the Royal Family<\/a> could prove vital in Prince Harry and King Charles’s peace talks, after a recent meeting was held between the pair’s aides in central London.<\/a> Princess Anne, dubbed the ‘hardest-working royal’ has been tipped by royal watchers as having a role to play in the peace-building between Harry and his family.<\/p>\n

After the meeting between Harry’s team and senior aides to the king, there were talks of a potential reconciliation. A source close to the Royal Family has told The Times<\/a> that Princess Anne<\/a> could offer some words of wisdom to her nephew in rebuilding relationships.<\/p>\n

They said: “She often talked about how, as children, she was treated so differently from Charles. She was second to him and kicked further down the line of succession as a woman, but she forged her own path.”<\/p>\n

The source added: “He should talk to her about her experiences. She is shrewd. She could tell him a lot about what she went through.”<\/p>\n

Both the princess and the Duke have had to deal with being second to older brothers. It appeared that William’s aides were snubbed<\/a> from the meeting between Harry and the King’s communication representatives, leading to speculation that the rift between the brothers may never be repaired.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Princess Royal was admitted to hospital in June<\/a> with head injuries and a concussion after reportedly being kicked in the head by a horse at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

Now recovered, she is set to spend her birthday next month, when she turns 75, sailing with her husband around Scotland for ten days.<\/p>\n

As her milestone birthday approaches, Princess Anne has accepted the issuing of a silver coin to commemorate royal duty.<\/p>\n

Released just last week, the coin features the Princess Royal’s portrait<\/a> and the words “The Princess Royal. Celebrating 75 years. Duty and devotion.”<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex has experienced rifts with the royals since he quit royal life in 2020 and spent the next few years criticising the Firm and his own relatives.<\/p>\n

Through a variety of public methods, including a Netflix<\/a> docuseries, an interview with US host Oprah Winfrey<\/a>, and his tell-all memoir, Spare, Prince Harry<\/a> depicted his life as a senior working royal, taking aim at family members.<\/p>\n
