COPS probing a horror assault on a major city centre street have released CCTV pics in a bid to find the attacker.<\/p>\n

The broad daylight attack<\/a> unfolded on Glasgow<\/a>‘s Sauchiehall Street in October.<\/p>\n

The attack occurred on the busy shopping<\/a> area around 1pm on October 29 last year.<\/p>\n

But cops<\/a> are still hunting<\/a> the suspect almost nine months after the incident.<\/p>\n

Today they released CCTV<\/a> images in their efforts to find the person behind the assault.<\/p>\n

The footage captured a man they believe may have information about the incident.<\/p>\n

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his late 30s, with short dark hair. <\/p>\n

He was wearing a black jacket, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information has been urged to get in touch.<\/p>\n

Detective Constable Larissa Cooper, of Greater Glasgow<\/a> Community Investigation<\/a> Unit, said: \u201cI would urge the man pictured, or anyone who has information relating to him, to contact the police.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you have any information that can assist with our investigation then please call Police Scotland<\/a> on 101, quoting reference number 1691 of 29 October 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlternatively, make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.\u201d<\/p>\n
