A 20-year-old cousin of Princes William and Harry was found dead with a gun not far from her body, according to a report<\/a>. <\/p>\n The Sun<\/a> said Rosie Roche, who was the granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, Edmund, died at her family home on July 14.<\/p>\n The media outlet reported that Roche was found by her mother and sister after she was packing for a trip she planned with friends. <\/p>\n A firearm was found close to her at the property in Norton, near Malmesbury, Wilts,” according to The Sun<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Citing a coroner, the media outlet said police “deemed the death as non-suspicious and there was no third-party involvement.” <\/p>\n In an obituary published Friday by The Yorkshire Post<\/a>, Roche was described as the “darling” daughter of Hugh and Pippa, as well as the “incredible sister” to Archie and Agatha, and granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long. <\/p>\n The obituary noted her loved ones were planning a private funeral, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.<\/p>\n Roche was a student at Durham University, where she studied English literature, according to reports. <\/p>\n University College staff and students are extremely saddened by the tragic death of Rosie Roche,” Professor Wendy Powers, who is the school’s principal, told The Sun<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Rosie had settled into the University and College beautifully and had lots of friends,” she told the media outlet. “She was loved for her creativity, energy, her love of books, poetry and travel among many other talents. She will be sorely missed.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The news comes following the death of Thomas Kingston<\/a>, who was the ex-boyfriend of Pippa Middleton and the husband of Lady Gabriella.<\/p>\n Kingston, who was also reportedly found with a gun near his body, died in February 2024. Soon after his passing, reports surfaced that he had taken his own life.<\/p>\n Katy Skerrett, senior coroner for Gloucestershire, had recorded a narrative verdict and said Mr. Kingston had taken his own life,” The Sun <\/a>noted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Roche’s father also reportedly died by suicide<\/a> more than 40 years ago.
