Royal fans are convinced that Ellen DeGeneres<\/a> bears a striking resemblance to King Charles<\/a> after a picture of her was posted on X. The picture of Ellen, which appeared to be a paparazzi shot, showed her wearing a blue and white striped shirt.<\/p>\n

The comedian, 67, now resides in the UK with her wife Portia de Rossi<\/a>. The couple have lived in the Cotswolds since 2024, with Ellen recently sharing how much she loves living in Britain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, user @JebraFaushay shared the picture of Ellen with a caption which read: “Ellen moved to England and turned into an old British man with big ears.”<\/p>\n

Another account agreed as they commented: “Sure did”. And, in a further dig at the former talk show host, a third user wrote: “Not a good look.”<\/p>\n

Sharing a similar view, another account shared a side-by-side image of Ellen and a younger King Charles with a caption which read: “Spot the difference.”<\/p>\n

A final user added: “Damn, she’s transforming into King Charles.”<\/p>\n

Speaking about the couple’s move, Ellen recently told a crowd in Cheltenham that life “is just better” in the UK.<\/p>\n

She also previously said: “We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in’. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here’.”<\/p>\n

Explaining her love for the UK further, she added: “It’s absolutely beautiful. We’re just not used to seeing this kind of beauty. The villages and the towns and the architecture – everything you see is charming and it’s just a simpler way of life. It’s clean. Everything here is just better – the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here.<\/p>\n

“We moved here in November, which was not the ideal time, but I saw snow for the first time in my life. We love it here.
