Manny Pacquiao<\/strong> made his return to boxing last Saturday (July 19, 2025) to face WBC Welterweight champion, Mario Barrios<\/strong>, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Though he came up short in his bid to add another title to his ever-impressive collection after fighting to a majority draw<\/a>, \u201cPacman\u201d turned in a vintage performance<\/a> that reminded everyone he still has plenty left in the tank. <\/p>\n

Now, the soon-to-be 47 year-old pugilist has his sights set on his next matchup after confirming post-fight that he has no plans to retire. And he isn\u2019t cherry-picking up-and-coming fighters or those who are past their prime. During a recent interview with Covers.com<\/a>, Pacquiao revealed he would be filling to face <\/strong>Conor Benn<\/strong> should his rematch with Chris Eubank Jr.<\/strong> not come to pass.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs long as it\u2019s the same weight, at 147, then no problem [I will fight Conor Benn],\u201d Pacquiao said. \u201cIt\u2019s no problem for me to come to the UK, my daughter is studying in the UK. In fact, we\u2019re planning to go to the UK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benn and Eubank Jr. initially threw down earlier this year in London, England in a 12-round war that saw Eubank Jr. walk away with a unanimous decision win (scorecards here<\/a>). A rematch was targeted<\/a> to take place in September, but talks have cooled over the last week after Benn claimed Eubank Jr. was calling for too many stipulations<\/a> before signing on the dotted line. <\/p>\n

As for Pacquiao, he also has his own sights on a rematch against Barrios after he felt he did enough to win the belt. But if that doesn\u2019t happen in the near future, he has no issues facing a 23-1 power-puncher like Benn. <\/p>\n
